“Before you can change the future, 1st you have to imagine it.”
I’m watching Earth 2100 on ABC right now. The documentary is something my generation, Millennial’s must have had a hand in creating. I can’t help but think that I could live to see what’s being envisioned. The documentary mixes cutting edge science, the graphic novel, and cool technology to create a rude dose of reality.
While I’m excited that a futuristic take has been used to envision how our lives could irrevocably change due to industrialization and the advent of global warming, I can’t help but fret: If we don’t “Go Green” on a Global scale Earth 2100 could happen…and that wouldn’t be good for communities or development!
ABC News.com.”Experts say over the next hundred years the “perfect storm” of population growth, resource depletion and climate change could converge with catastrophic results.”

Excerpt: “It’s an idea that most of us would rather not face — that within the next century, life as we know it could come to an end. Our civilization could crumble, leaving only traces of modern human existence behind.”
“It seems outlandish, extreme — even impossible. But according to cutting edge scientific research, it is a very real possibility. And unless we make drastic changes now, it could very well happen.”
