President Obama Turns 48: A Millennial Celebrates & Reflects

I love my president dearly.  (I know he’s your president too.)  President Obama has done something that hasn’t been done in my lifetime.  He spoke to my generation.  All of us.  All around the world.  And he’s made it a point to acknowledge and validate our dreams, our individuality, our religions, and our ability to have faith.  Faith is important to us. To the young. The essence of faith is to believe possibilities exist, ya know.

We span the globe.  We don’t all support his policies.  Certainly we’re skeptical about his promises. He is a politician.  But we know when someone is talking to us. Looking right at us. Into us. We know when our humanity is recognized.

And, as a generation of people, much younger than those who are at the helm in every country, we use media; we see everything. And me, well, I see that you’ve turned 48 my dear president.  I wish you another 100 birthdays in the company of your loved ones, just like you are in this picture. Happy Birthday President Obama!!!

    President Obama
I wish you God’s richest blessings. I know you had a happy birthday – Hope there will be many more.

Just be humble before God – He appreciates that because we should all recognise that we are not as great as He is. He will lead you if you respect Him.

May you and your family continue to bond with God and with one another.

  2. Dohli,

    Well said.
