Please help me in supporting Charity:Water. It’ll cost you nothing.
I believe clean water matters. I’m clear on this answer.
On February 25th, 2009 the Associated Press reported that children across this country in small towns and inner cities alike are exposed to toxins in school drinking water.
Outside of America people are dying from a lack of clean water. A range of inter-related social and environmental issues are making clean water a scarce resource around the world and we are now faced with addressing the problems arising from:
- Climate change
- Dry reservoirs
- Natural disasters
- Contaminated water & the spread of disease.
In Sub-Saharan Africa, for example, children catch malaria from mosquitos that breed in water. “One billion people on the planet don’t have access to clean drinking water. That’s one in six of us. charity: water is a non-profit organization bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations.” – Charity:Water
